New'ish Member

Hi all, I'm a new'ish member to this board.

I have updated my profile for those who may be interested in my story.

The quick summary is I was diagnosed a little more than a year ago, had a radical nephrectomy, gone through a couple rounds of scans and am very thankful to be doing well.

I will try to stay up-to-date on the board and post when I can be helpful.

God Bless.

Can I ask how your recovery

Can I ask how your recovery went? I have surgery in one week and hate that I have to rest and recover. I know it is part of it, but that is what is bothering me the most. Today my dr wrote me off work for 6 wks!!!! Gonna be hard to rest, but I know it is a major surgery too.

    Hi Shaughnessy! Welcome to

Hi Shaughnessy! Welcome to the fam! Massive tumor?  How big And what type RCC? Mine was 4.5 cm and ccrcc. Tomorrow is 8 weeks since surgery for me. I hope my first scans are clear. I totally understand the anxiety!! Try to push it to the back and enjoy life!
