Had a CT scan today and will have a PET scan this Thursday.  Then follow up with the ENT Doctor next Monday.   Very nervous about receiving results.  Hoping for awesome news.

    Perfectly normal feelings

I was on pins and needles waiting for my first time results. You are going through what all of us have. Hang in there and hope for the best. Prayers your way.

Well, no tumor on the tongue

Well, no tumor on the tongue anymore.  Just an ulcer where it was.   Right lymph nodes good.   One left lymph node didn't shrink all the way.   Gonna l schedule a needle biopsy to see what's going on.   So I guess overall it was kind of good news.  Three months out and still on feeding tube not being able to eat is still an issue.

    similar

My husband is 2 and a half months out. He is still on the feeding tube. He only eats small amounts by mouth. I expect he will be on feeding tube for another couple of months.

    Good report

At 3 months post it is often common for PET to show some SUV update and also nodes have not all shrunk up as yet. Be positive, good report.
