Ladies, Do You Know about the "Look Good Feel Better" Program?
I went to the American Cancer Society's free "Look Good, Feel Better" makeup session for cancer patients yesterday, and I highly recommend it. You are given a good-sized cosmetic bag of full-size, high-end make up for free (valued at $150 at least). Plus a cosmetician teaches you how to apply it. She also talks about hair, skin and nail issues that arise from treatment, and gives tips to address them. She shows wig and scarf options and different ways of wearing and tying. Also, did you know that the American Cancer Society will give one free wig to women with cancer? To book a session and to find out where to go for your free wig, go to: http://lookgoodfeelbetter.org/. The instructor asked for help spreading the word. It's VERY fun, and you learn about modern cosmetic products which I found enlightening.
