Heartburn, acid reflux
I got very bad heartburn from the chemo - felt it way up near my throat - started on pantolac 40mg and take each morning before eat. I also take a tums/antacid if I feel it later in the day. Don't eat late. I had tried just tums early on, but did not work for me, so started on pantolac. Also eat soda crackers to relieve a bit - watch acidic foods/drinks. Good luck.

Baking soda
I drank a lot of baking soda mixed with water and it really seemed to help.

Sleep reclined
I had to sleep in my recliner. If I laid down, everything came up.
My Onc had me on Prilosec/Omeprazole.
I also noticed that certain foods really triggered the reflux. I would try keeping a food journal.
It truly is miserable. I am so sorry you are going through this.

Baking Soda and Digestive Enzymes
As part of my last surgery I had my galbladder removed, so sometimes richer foods bother me. I only drink alkalized water (a teaspoon of baking soda in a litre of water) and I take digestive enzymes to help break down what I eat.
