Please help im going crazy i beleive i have ORAL SCC but no one is picking it up

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Can anyone here tell me if i am in the right place im going crazy i have signs in my mouth that look bad but oral surgeon, ENT , Dentist all said nothing is wrong :-(

 

I would love to share some photos of what i see and if anyone else is going throuh this

    Crazy or Not

    Try and find an ENT that specializes in Head & Neck cancers.  You might have to go to a cancer center rather than a local ENT/Oral Surgeon.  My original ENT said mine was a sinus infection for 3 months and until I went to someone that knew what they were looking at, I was misdiagnosed.  Once I found the right doctor, I was Stage 4.  Would it have made a difference in my case if it was found earlier or not, no one will ever know.

    My primary care doctor sent

    My primary care doctor sent me to an oral surgeon who didn't even biopsy but sent me directly to a head and neck cancer specialist.  He did the biopsy but was reasonably sure it was cancer.  He was right.  So was the doctor and oral surgeon.  Get to a head and neck cancer specialist.  I don't know how anyone can rule out cancer without examining the cells via biopsy.  You can post photos if you wish.

    Welcome to the H&N forum, sorry that you are here.

    I do not know if you are in the right place (yet) and maybe the signs in your mouth don’t look cancer bad.  Maybe, it is something far less life changing (I hope so).

    As for pictures, we have a member who shared some graphic pictures of his cancer, he named Jack.  That was a bit over the top, so if yours are really gross, let me know they are coming.

    There is more than one capable doctor  out there, if need be, seek him or her out.

    oh, I saw those pictures of Jack ... *shudder*. I think it was post op photos.
