End of life behavior

How typical is it for a terminal lung cancer patient to suddenly appear bewildered after staff tries to move his position in bed, and then lash out angrily and pull the bed curtain in front of himself, refusing to communicate at all after that?

He fell asleep after a while, letting the bed curtain drop slowly. He died the day after that.

    Hi. I'm assuming you are the fiancee of the person who passed away? I'm very sorry. I hope you are holding up okay. Losing a loved one, especially so close, it hurts a lot.

    I don't know if it's typical to behave this way. What is "typical"? What is typical of me? I might do the same. Or maybe not. I don't think we know or anybody knows how a person will act or react in those last moments. There's a lot of things going through a person's mind. A lot of things. A lot of things are going through my mind right now.

    Think about the last times you talked when he was all there. That's him. Not the person bewildered and angry and confused. I don't wanna talk, either. Why I'm on here right now I'm not sure. 

    I wish you peace of mind and soul.
