Alpha Lipoic Acid helped me
After chemo was complete, I met with an Integrative Med specialist (an m.d.) who works with cancer patients, and he had me on Alpha Lipoic Acid: 600 mg 2x/day. I could only tolerate the morning dose, but even at once a day, it helped tremendously. He also recommended Magnesium Citrate – 400mg/day, and 10 g Glutamine/day. I didn't try those, but I know that the glutamine is a well-known supplement for addressing issues of neuropathy. Do know that it takes time.
I avoided Gabepentin because I tend to have extreme reactions to many prescription drugs.
Good luck.

I tried gaboplatin for a
I tried gaboplatin for a month or two, but it really didn't help, so I stopped taking it. I do take slow magnesium prescribed by my oncologist. My neuropathy is only in my feet and isn't too terrible. It's more like numbness and tingling, but not truly painful. I wish I didn't have it, but I am a year out from treatment for endometrial cancer and am still clear. It appears to be part of my new normal.
