Continuing Good news from update from reoccurrence from Oct. of 2016
Hi Ladies:
I wanted to update everyone from my reoccurrence of UPSC from last October of 2016. I had a CA 125 blood test done on Monday, July 31st which showed my level to be 19 which is in the normal range. In May it was 26. This is very good news for me and I am very happy about this. I had a 3 month visit with my oncologist this afternoon and he is puzzled as to why my blood level has come down so much it was 134 in October of 2016 so this is a tremendous difference. Thankfully, I did not go through chemo treatments as my blood level continued to drop each month since January it was at 63 then it went down to the 40s range, then back to the 60 level and then it came down to 26 in May. He said my strong immune system would likely knock it out of me. The cancer was initially found on a Pet Scan in October of last year on my pelvic area and spleen. Anyway, for now, I go back and see my oncologist in early November. He wants me to have a blood test done the end of October and he also wants me to have a Pet Scan done in October of this year to see how everything looks. Anyway, for now, I am very happy about this.
I will keep you ladies posted on the uterine board when I get more results in October and November.
Cheerful
a/k/a Jane
