Hi, Thank you so much for your response. Now I know that I am not crazy. How are you doing today? I hope all is well.
I am doing well. After a year of treatment including hysterectomy, radiation, and chemo, I have been clear for one year. Please keep us posted. Prayers!

Endoometrial HyperplasiaSJS said:Biopsy Results
Thank you to everyone for responding. My biopsy came back normal. I know something is wrong with me. Any suggestions of what to do next. My doctor is out today. Should I get a CT scan?
SJS,
It sounds like you have endometrial hyperplasia. It is an abnormal thickening
of the lining of the uterus. The lining should be .4cm- are you sure your report
says 6.6? It is thickening. Symptoms are abnormal vaginal bleeding or spotting.Your hormones may be unbalanced - you may have more estrogen than progesterone.
That is why all your hormones should be tested. Then you can work with your doctor
to get them into balance. Unbalanced hormones can lead to endometrial cancer.
My opinion is that you need to address your issue now so that you don't move to
endometrial cancer.Cancer has to be a certain size to show up on a scan- so I don't think a CT scan
would help you now, but a D&C would be the next step. Your cells are still probably
at a microscopic level.Doctors just don't order the proper blood tests so we can learn what is going on inside and
we can then address the problem so we don't get cancer. So you have to ask for them.
I would also test forInsulin, IGF-1 (insulin growth factor hormone), and ferritin.
Ferritin levels go up when women are in menopause and is a major driver of cancer.I would recommend you get the complete panel of blood tests now- then you may better understand
the direction you want to take. A D&C would be a good idea but you need blood test info to see what
your underlying health issues are.I take metformin, which put my cancer in remission. If your IGF-1 or insulin levels are high or you are pre-diabetic,
you may want to get on metformin. Those three factors also drive endometrial cancer (they drove mine) and metformin
addresses all three. If those are what is causing your situation, you can get those markers back in balance
now before they do more damage. You have to address the root cause of your problem. Something is making the
lining of your uterus grow. So you should be tested for growth factors as I mention above. The key is keepeing your body in balance. And there are many things you need to consider
to keep your body in balance. Your doctor should be discussing these things with you.Takingcontrol58
