How to deal with upset stomach after the pump pulled out
Yesterday, a few minutes after I left the hospital, where they usually pull the pump out, I felt like I was about to throw up. I have upset stomach. And I don't know how to deal with it. I don't know what to eat for breakfast to ease this yucky stuff!! Any suggestion will help. Please!!

Ginger
Ginger is good for upset stomach. You might want to try Ginger Snaps as they are easy to carry with you. Ginger ale is also good. Some times I add a bit a water to get rid of some of the carbonation.
Your onc should be able to provide you with anti-nausa medicine as well.

Nausea
I have an anti-nausea prescription to take when needed, but also find ginger chews helpful. And lately, I realized that chewing peppermint gum helps. Bought a bunch of packages, and have been chewing a piece when my stomach feels upset - seems to help. Been told sucking on a lozenge can help.

Common
It's common to have this feeling. I'd lost 16 pounds because of no appetite afterwards but still try to eat. You will heal much better with food. Try a protein shake if doctor allows or boost or ensure. That is a great substitute. Hope you feel better.
