Thank you for all your comments and thougths and prayers.  Doctor said there was no polyps, no sign of cancer, no colitis and that I'm not to return for 5 years.  I'm really surprised at the date as I've been 2 years, 2 years, 3 years and and now 5 years.  I've been clean for 8 years and with no polyps he doesn't feel the need for me to come back.  He still considers the 5 year scan a high risk because cancer doesn't grow that fast in the colon and I've not had any polyps in 8 years.  I'm truly blessed.  I've been through a lot lately with breast biopsy (which fortunately was normal) and this with the last couple of months.  I had an emergency scan in February which showed all clear so I'm happy to say that I've been cancer free for 8 1/2 years.  Praise God and thank this board for getting me through so much.

Thoughs and prayers daily and I'm not far way.

Hugs!  Kim

    Thank you all

Your comments and thoughts are so appreciated.  I've been a part of this board for many years and although I've not posted much since my brother passed and husband was diagnosed (just was too hard on me to be here), I'm glad that you all are so supportive of a sporatic poster.  I'm always available to any questions, especially about rectal cancer and illeostomies.  For new posters, my "all about me page" has all of my medical history.  Thanks again for all your support.

    Hugs!  Kim
