You'd want a specialty cancer center
My appendix cancer recurred in my vagina. I am being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. They discussed various radiation options after my surgery (brachytherapy and general radiation treatment) to mop up the remaining cancer cells. For a variety of reasons, I opted out of further treatment beyond surgery. However, you want a center that sees and deals with the rare cancers regularly.

So what are the recommened centers please?
There are quite a few good ones known around the U.S. Sloan in NYC, Moffit in FL, Faber in Boston, MD Anderson in TX (they have also started affiliations with hospitals across the country), and there are others. Depending on where you live you might be surprised what is local and well-respected. If possible, ask to work with a specialist, for example with a gynecologic cancer you really want to work with a GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGIST. They are gynecologists who have taken years of additional training and they will best be able to assist with 'below the belt' cancers.
