I had a bad dream last night that something or somebody was chasing me and other people and killing them. My husband woke me up and said I was wimpering  crying so loud that it woke him up. I don't remember all the details of it though. That is probably a good thing!

I get bad dreams sometimes too. Stress and anxiety can bring them on for me. The dream sounds terrible. And terrifying. When I can't figure out why I had a certain dream I think about how I felt during the dream to help explain it. Right now you are literally fighting for your life - like you were in the dream- and it is frightening. And the "something or someone" who was killing people in the dream was like the cancer. Between my husband and I we lost three parents in 13 months plus I had the cancer in there too. I had way more bad dreams during that time period! A really bad dream can kind of stay with you during the next day too so I hope that's not the case today. Have a good weekend off and enjoy Father's Day with your husband tomorrow!

    Bad Dreams

I thinks sometimes if we're holding in emotions, they have to get out somehow, so they manifest themselves as dreams.  I remember immediately after being diagnosed I'd dream and wake up right in the middle of the surgeon telling me that I had cancer.  A real life nightmare.  It was constant, sometimes more than once a night for about a week.  I also found myself having vivid dreams that I'd remember during treatment and even now, though not as much.  Prior to this I seldom remembered my dreams.

Keep a dream journal...just jot a few lines down so you remember, and then maybe try to figure them out later?
