Thank you Chris for bringing it to our attention! This made my day. I know that immunotherapy only works for a percentage of people, but the more of us that have the opportunity to attempt it the better. When I asked about Keytruda last November, my oncologist didn't pay much attention because it wasn't on her radar for endometrial cancers. Now it will be, thank heavens. What a difference 6 months makes.

It might help you if your cancer has a certain genetic component. Testing is required to determine that. 

This is the reason I wanted to try Keytruda a year ago as I have those genomic alterations that Keytruda works well for except I have an autoimmune disease which is a nono on Keytruda, but due to being end stage and it not being approved for any uterine cancers anyway our application got accepted. I refused trying any other chemo than frontline and I also refused additional surgery for now. If Keytruda is not enough I might go for surgery similar to the one Daylady had done in Germany, they offer that in the states as well. My CA125 is now within normal range and my mets have shrunk. Keytruda does not work right away it takes time. In my case it took 3 months before I started to see improvements. As to side effects I get some rashes that I treat effectively with cannabis oil and I get some fatigue.

By the way I see those Metformin posts still show up and when first reading about it I tried it (onc said it will not work with your makeup, but if you want to try fine with me), had no effect other than give me diarrhea, I am not fat, I do not have a poor diet and I am not prediabetic, which seem to be at least a slight requirement there. 

I think immunotherapy will be frontline cancer treatment for all cancers within 10-15 years when I am sure they will finetune and get it to work properly. For now I am happy being a guinea pig for something I believe in and oh of course I am on death row anyway and this is why it is even more interesting as you do not go on Keytruda with low non aggressive cancers so for most of the people it works for they are end stage like me
