For those of you that remember Loretta and William Marshall
For those of you that remember Loretta and William Marshall; I wanted to let you know that William had a stroke yesterday and is in the hospital. He seems to be doing better today but I am sure that Loretta and William would appreciate your positive thoughts and prayers.
William is in Northern Hospital of Surry County. The hospital # is 336-719-7222. In the morning he will be undergoing more tests on his heart.
As a fourteen year survivor of esophageal cancer, William has supported and mentored many of us through the treatment and recovery process. Loretta is currently undergoing her own challenges with abdominal cancer. As always they both continue to maintain their positive attitude and I am sure they would appreciate our support during this difficult time.
Best Regards,
Paul

Sorry to Hear
Hello William & Loretta,
Sorry to hear the news. My mother-in-law had a stroke last year (it was actually her fourth, although it was the first one diagnosed, but that's a long story about why you should go to good doctors at good hospitals instead of the quacks right down the street). She's been struggling with getting herself back to normal. I hope William recovers well and quickly.
Sending positive thoughts your way,
Ed

Update on William Marshall
I talked with Loretta and William this evening and I am happy to report that William had a good day of tests at the hospital today. He had a thorough set of cardiac tests. He will be returning home tomorrow. Although he did have a minor stroke the good news is, they think they can manage the blood clot issues with new medication, and follow up with his doctors at home.
