Thanks to Dr. Reed
Dr Reed was born in my town and through her advocacy saved lives of women by fighting against the use of morcellators for laparoscopic uterine removals. May she rest in peace.

Amy Reed RIP
Thank you so much for posting this. I have read much about Dr. Reed's campaign and how she was treated by her own medical community after raising her voice. I was hoping she woud make it. I am so sorry she did not.
Her story, and her and her husband's campaign revealed and raised more than one issue related to healthcare for women with gynecological problems. Will be praying for her children and husband.-j

Thank you for posting this, CheeseQueen.
If Dr. Reed had not spoken up I hate to think how it still would have been going on and how many of us could be in worse circumstance.
You are right, Drienne, prayers for her husband and children.

Thanks for the link. It worked. We lost a wonderful person.
It takes guts to go against the masses when you know you are right. Good lesson for all of us to stand up.
Love and Hugs,
Cindi

Thank you, Kim. Great article everyone should read. I am going to attach the link so everyone can just click on it and it opens in a new window - hope you don't mind. It is very sad to see how they were treated by other "professionals".
