    Stage 4 EC spread to some lymph nodes & brain

    Hello my name is Shannon and My Mom is 74 and was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal adenocarcinoma about 5 months ago. It has spread to some lymph nodes and cause 1 lesion in her brain that is shrinking (We just had a Brain MRI) She will have her 6th round of chemo on July 3rd and they are going to scan her on July 5th to see how the cancer is responding. She's lost nearly a total of 50 pounds and she can no longer walk because she said her legs feel very heavy. Has anyone received a scan after chemo and good results with a stage 4 cancer? I just cannot decide at times if the cancer or the chemo are winning the fight :(
