HCC and Opdivo
I was diagnosed with HCC late in 2014 and since have had three TACE procedures and one RFA. AFP levels go up without anything showing on scans so now the oncologist wants to try me on Opdivo. Does anyone have any experience with this therapy? Side effects?

HCC 10cm liver tumor
My husband was diagnosed with a HCC 10cm liver tumor caused by Hep B. He recently underwent a Y90 treatment. The doctor performing the procedure did not give much hope of the tumor shrinking since it had grown from 8cm in Jan 2017 to April 2017. Does anyone have any experience with large HCC tumors responding to Y90?

Began Opdivo Treat
I began Opdivo chemo sessions last Tuesday for treatment of my HCC. Happy to say I have had no adverse side effects to date. Treatment sessions will be two weeks apart for a total of 12 sessions. Nexavar wasn't effective and I didn't tolerate it well. Waiting to hear now if I am going to have a port put in.
I have to say thank you to Bristol Myers Squibb for accepting me into the Patient Assistance program after my insurance company denied me the drug as "medically unnecessary ".
