Im out of words
this news really hurt. Stomps was one of the first persons I came in touch with here. He was one of our "rocks". I looked up to him for his humor, his intelligence and his generosity. I loved his special way of saying things. I feel like I have lost a friend. He will be greatly missed...

This makes my heart so sad. I
This makes my heart so sad. I didn't think I would get so upset but ever since he stopped posting I've been checking each day for news. When I was first diagnosed and terrified, Footstomper, Iceman, Fox, Jan, Donna, Medic, were all some of the first people to make me feel like I could and would get through this. I realize today how much the people on this board mean to me. I don't know most real name and only know minimally about each of you aside from a tumor stage and grade. Despite that, I have deep appreciation and care for all of you that have been brought together. I hope he knew how appreciated he was and I hope the same for those that are still with us.

I am out of words as well,
I am out of words as well, stomp is also first first few that I came across with here. Being here has already became part of my life, i am not a person that is good with words but have been worrying to hear this news since last week. Don't know how to describe how sad it feels... Stomps will be missed!

Hurt
This hurts very deep. Ditto on what Kat said. Foots was one of the first to reach out to this "newbie" to help calm my anxiety and assure me that my diagnosis was not a death sentence. I have a deep level of appreciation and gratitude for Foots and many others here on this site. God speed, Footstomper.

OH MY, my heart has been
OH MY, my heart has been stomped permanently! May his spirit know how much I care, that we ALL care. Now he can know we cared how he has been missing.
With Mark (mrou50)'s passing (March 17th) and FootStomper, its too much.
I am also concerned about a newish member (end of Dec 2016) is MIA too=WhatIsLife. Mark (mrou50) and Fox were assisting me with help for him as well. It looked hopeful yet serious last time I talked to WhatIsLife. No obit..phone disconnected. Hope he has the strength to let me know.
RIP dear Footstomper..rest easy big guy!
PLEASE go to his site and write his family about his effects on our hearts, ok folks?

Such sad news....my heart is breaking. So much loss all at once. Rest in peace, Stomps. Your humor and positive outlook made your star shine.
You will be missed, but not forgotten. Glad we got to know you here.
Big hugs to everyone.

Thank you Iceman for doingicemantoo said:Sad news
I sent a pm to Footstomper and here is the reply I just received from CSN.
Hi Iceman,
We try not to interfere too much in the forums, but when I saw the post tonight about Footstomper, I was worried as well (as I've noticed him missing the last few weeks also.) I'm sorry to say that it appears he has passed on. Here is his obituary which you may want to share with the board - http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/peter-whitby-obituary?pid=1000000184407732&view=guestbook . I know this will hit the board hard as it hits us on the back end as well. Please let me know if I can help in any other way.

Thank you Iceman for doing reaching out with a PM.
And a BIG thank you to the CSN staff looking into this for us. Cannot tell you how important is it to get information when a member goes missing. And thank you for permitting mrou50's wife Patrice to write to us. It all means so much.
Hugs to you for the work you do behind the scenes for US!

Seems the Legacy.com site is
Seems the Legacy.com site is not working, BUT please keep trying. Write to Peter's family (Footstomper). I know it means a lot to them.
When my husband passed, members of a forum I was active on wrote on my legacy page. I got hundreds of responses; meant so much. I printed them off and still have them in a file.
Hang in there folks=HOPE

First time on in a while
And this is the first thing I see, so sad. He was so nice to me when I came here, looking for people that understood what I was going through. I only interacted with him a handful of times, but each time he said something I needed to hear.

Stomps was a very special person. He was an inspiration to so many and a friend to all. He will be missed.

Hurts...
I liked Footstomper. His sense of humor was a good one for me. He taught me how to laugh at all the yuckie side effects of Sutent... and invest in wet wipes. I am sorry for his familiy's loss. I am happy that he is not in pain. I salute you Footsie my friend... Fly freely forever.

Will miss Footstomper
I wrote on the legacy.com site, so amazing to see all of the wonderful comments about him. I am really sad, like so many others here he was one of the first to resonde to my posts. I also am invested in wet wipes or "moist flushable towelettes" because of his wisdom. RIP Footstomper.
