Im so sorry your mom is still so sore. When is the last time someone checked her? She might just be sore because tissue is already fragile from previous treatment and doesn't heal as well, but she could be getting an infection. I got very tender and my doctor thought I might have an abscess in rectum ( turned out I didn't). Dont be afraid to call her doctors or "bother" them with questions. You know your mom better than they do and even if it turns out it's just slow healing maybe they can help with pain.

So if they check her and it looks ok I would have her apply a protective ointment like aquaphore or there's one I like by Coloplast for protecting skin around colostomies- active ingedient is petrolatum but it is really thick and forms a barrier over skin. I know that feeling of skin burning as soon as soon as the urine or stool hits it! That might help. It is exhausting having to bathe everytime you have a bowel movement!

Thabknyou so much, we went
Thabknyou so much, we went today and dr took a peek said it looks ok well not infected. he said he took quite a few biospys so she wouldn't have to do it again and that's why she's sore. She uses this pink thick cream seems to help a little.

Hope you can find a good doctor.
Hope you can find a good doctor. I knew how it look like from my father's treatment, they just getting him worse and worse. There's a lots of privacy laws protecting doctors, they can get away from any mistake. Hopefully you can find a doctor be gentle to her giving her conservative treatment. They suggest to you the most expensive and harmful treatment first, it's better to ask for different options before any treatment. I have a friend, doctor says she has stomache cancer, at that time her skin looks really horrible, it may just caused by metablism imbalance. She's so scared, whole family moved back to her home country because of her cancer. Doctors there says she don't have cancer, I'm very happy for her that she didn't get cheated. Cancer is already defined as a chronic disease 10 years ago, but still many doctors give patients aggresive treatment, which just make it worse.
In other countries, doctors are employees in the hospital, hospital monitoring their daily work, at least junior doctors can be mentored by senior ones which can prevent many mistake in time. Hospitals in US only hire nurses, all doctors are contractor, you see nurses can never monitor what's doctors doing. Good luck to all the patients.
You see these days, doctor won't make you recover any more, they just put you on a medication, and says you can take this all you life, it's well controlled. There're so many addictive medicine now, after you on it sometime, you can never off.

The United States has some of the most advanced medical treatments in the world. Your statements regarding doctors in the U.S. are wrong. There are some doctors that are questionable but as a whole doctors in the U.S. save hundreds of thousands lives a year. I was treated for anal cancer in 2008 and thank God for my knowledgeable doctors I am cancer free today.

I've never heard of this product and in the nearly 9 years of being an anal cancer survivor, I've never heard of this food or any other food causing skin tags or anal cancer. Sorry to be a non-believer, but anal cancer, in nearly all cases, is caused by human papilloma virus.
