I'm CRash.
52 year old dude. Last year, I too pissed blood. No other symptoms. My tumor on my left kidney was as big as an eggplant, when they cut it out. 9 months and 3 scans later, just learning to live before it's too late. Definitely a wake up call. i live in the southeastern US.

Welcome CRashster! Luv your name! So are you on a watch and see monitoring only? Hope so.
Its not only the size of the tumor I have learned, but its position. Glad you are doing okay.
Yes, makes us re-think our life and goals=gratefulness.

Hi CRash
How are you feeling 9 months out?
My nephrectomy was one month ago today.
How long did it take for you to start feeling normal? (I almost typed 'feeling yourself').
Steve.

for my body, it's kind of like a new normal. Good days and bad days. It's a lot about attitude. Just keep going. Love every day, get stuff done. It's harder to stay active, but I think my age has something to do with it. Had I been younger, I probably would have bounced back quicker. I'll have 5 or 6 good days, then it's like something kind of drags me down. BP is here and there, eGFR is slowly improving. It could have been a lot worse.

Thanks CRash
I was expecting you to say you've been feeling great for months!
I feel like I'll be close to normal in another month, but won't know until it comes of course.
Right now I am ok as long as I conserve energy. I am avoiding lifting etc.
Steve.
