Any Tips for Newly diagnosed
My mom was just diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. If anyone has any tips for homeopathic remedies for shrinking tumors, prepping for chemo or just anything you did hat helped prepare I would love the tips! She is starting with chemo then robotic surgery before more chemo.
Thanks

Advice
mh2017,
Sorry about your mom's diagnosis. I do think you are wise to ask for guidance beyond conventional medicine. I was diagnosed in 2009 and started seeing a naturopath after I had my surgery. I incorporated a number of integrative therapies throughout my treatment and even afterwards to strengthen my body after treatment. What I have learned, however, is that each patient comes to the table with different things that contributed to their cancer. And what works for one patient, both conventional and alternaive, doesn't work for everyone. I have been in remission since I completed my treatment in 2010, but I remain in contact with a number of women who are also consulting with naturopaths for their treatment. What I have seen is that incorporating integrative therapies during treatment helps reduce side effects and improves survival after first line treatment. I know you are looking for some insights as to what your mom can do, but my advice would be to have her consult with an naturopathic oncologist or integrative oncologist who can give her advice specific to her.
I hope her surgery and treatments go well. Good luck.
