Janae update
Hi, just wanted to let every one know how things are going. I feel like my neropathy in my fingers is a little better. Its not all gone but i dont seem to notice it as much. MY toes are a little better too but not as much as my fingers. My toes bothered me the most before. I notice the neropathy in my toes the most while i am wearing shoes for a long time. My joint pain is still with me and feel it the most after I get off work and after Isit down to to rest. I can feel it alot when I have to get up again. Over all things are good. I still think about if my cancer has come back once in a while, but try to focus more on the good I have. Some times I get to busy to think about cancer. I have my checkups in march. I see my radiation oncologist and my medical oncoloevery gist. I was considering cancelling one of them but my radiation ocologist will give me a vaginal exsam and Im sure my blood work will be done at the medical oncologists appointment. I want both of the tests done. I hope every one is doing well. Oh by the way I ditched my wig last night I colored my hair brown and I wear a head band in my hair and put jel in my hair to spike it up. I went with out it all day. I get home and felt my head band and have a wierd craving to take it off because my head band reminds me of my wig. I guess I had forgoten what it feels like to take a hair elastic out of my hair and let my hair down. I get to do that again. with my head band.
Love you all
Janae

I'm glad you're feeling so
I'm glad you're feeling so much better, Janae, and able to focus on so many things besides cancer. Having hair again makes a big difference!

I laughed when you talked
I laughed when you talked about wanting to take your headband off 'cuz it felt like the wig. It's so good to hear that you are feeling more and more "normal" and that sometimes you forget about cancer. Just keep taking care of yourself as you continue to feel better.

Janae, thank you for posting
Janae, thank you for posting your update. It is so wonderful to hear that you are at a point where you don't always think about the cancer. I know that it's been a long, tough road to get to this point but you've done it - congrats! And no wig - that is a true milestone!
I hope that your and your family get to celebrate all of these accomplishment together and that you continue to feel better every day! Kim
