I think I am starting to read a little too much. Anyway, has anybody heard of this stuff or actually used it. Don't think it is available here in the US. Don't know enough about this stuff to know if is crapola or not.

Dendritic cell vaccine. Allegedly they harvest blood cells, process them in a laboratory to produce dendritic cells and then put them back in the body. It is immunotherapy.

GcMAF injections: Restores the immune system. The injections restore the immune systems ability to activate macrophages allowing them to attack cancer cells.

All this stuff is out of a clinic in the Bahamas. I found it on a caring bridge site and they are going down for this type of therapy after failed HIPEC at Sloan due to progression of disease, procedure at Sloan was an open/close.

    I have had two friends whom had colon cancer and used some alternative treatment they claimed cured them. One had a company in Japan make some sort of "shake" using their patented treatment along with the person's own cells, this for three thousand. I also had someone go to Germany for alternative treatment and claimed it cured them as well.
    I don't know. I believe in some alternative treatment, but not sure what really works and does not work.
    I sometimes wonder, you mentioned the open/close HIPEC, why not try giving the HIPEC even if it spread too much. You never know if it could prolong a life, work wonders or what have you not, but then again I am no doctor.

    Alternative medicine isn't expensive, and if is, it should be
    approached very, very carefully and with some skepticism.

    Traditional Chinese Medicine is generally inexpensive, but
    many practitioners are charging more for visits, due to the
    higher overhead they're faced with. The herbs are fairly
    inexpensive, but since they're pharmaceutical strength, they
    should not be taken without full knowledge of what each herb
    is capable of doing, and what each herb in a formula is capable
    of doing. Self medication of any pharmaceutical product isn't
    something for the faint of heart....

    You don't want to kill yourself trying to get better.

    If you can locate a qualified doctor of TCM, it would be
    worth a visit. The science is thousands of years old; it's not
    a glossy ad production, or a matchbook cover ad...

    Aside from TCM?

    And there's a compound called "Hydrazine Sulfate". You can
    read about it here. It takes two bottles of capsules to do the
    recommended treatment. I paid $30 per bottle. If anyone
    wishes to go this route, make sure you buy it from a well known,
    respected supplier. The SCRI does not sell anything, since it
    is a non-profit. They might be able to give you the name of a
    supplier, however.

    I believe in TCM, and that is the only path I've taken through
    my ordeal with colon cancer. I would consider any other path,
    if I find that TCM isn't working for me.

    The Hydrazine Sulfate is something I'm reserving for a "last ditch"
    effort, since it is akin to chemotherapy, although without the terrible
    side effects of standard chemo. HS works to keep cancer cells from
    getting glucose, and can kill an overwhelming amount of cancer
    cells at one time. It is an MAOI, and should be taken under a
    physician's supervision, since a fairly strict diet, and an absence
    of most all other pharmaceuticals are a must.

    All these other "Apricot-pit", "Coffee enema" etc paths can
    lead to no-where, since the amount of the ingredients that actually
    can kill a cancer cell, is impossible to get from the quantity that
    can possibly be ingested, or accepted anally.

    Cancer kills. Chemotherapy kills. Radiation kills.

    And poor choices for self-medication can kill.

    Pick your path carefully, and don't be afraid to change course.

    Prostate Cancer

    I am looking into GcMAF for my early Stage IV PCa. On Casadex and Lupron. I have resumed taking DCA, since it seemed to lower my PSA level by 20% over 3 weeks. However, I am seriously considering GcMAF. The research papers of several of its pomoters have been withdrawn due to irregularities, errors etc, although anecdotal accounds sound encouraging. I'd be very interested in hearing fromanyone with direct experience with GcMAF for PCa
