Sad to report that BC Brady passed away
Billie Crandall Brady passed away yesterday. A few months back Billie wrote a post that she was afraid one of us would pass away and nobody would know what happened to them. I messaged her and gave her my name and facebook information and she gave me hers and we promised to let you know if either of us didn't make it. We messaged back and forth but she quickly took a turn for the worse. Today this was on her husband, Dennis's page.
"My darling Billie passed away peacefully just before midnight on Feb 1st, while holding my hand, and our oldest son Griffin's hand shortly after celebrating our grandson Cormac's first birthday. She loved life so much and never gave up her battle. Billie made a real difference in our community, and in the hearts of all who knew her. If you have just a moment, please write a note here to Cormac to let him (or any future grand babies) know why you thought his Nanie was so special. I will print them and he will have them forever...."
I hate cancer! I hate cancer! I hate cancer!
Love,
Eldri

Just Sad...
thank you Eldri for letting us know. It is hard when someone just doesn't post and we are left to wonder.
I'm glad she had such a loving family surrounding her, that she got to see her Grandson's first birthday, that her life made a difference in all who knew her, that she never gave up because she loved life! What a beautiful lady who has passed that on and left us all an example to follow. Prayers for her family and friends. She will be missed.(((HUGS))) to all - make each day count lean in and LOVE on the people you have and LOVE your life

I am so sorry and sad to hear of Billie's passing. This cancer took another one of our uterine "sisters". She is the 2nd person I know of that has passed away now within 2 weeks of each other as both of the women had Stage 4. Our cancer is a terrible cancer - I just wish there was a cure for it.
I did not know Billie, but I will keep her in my prayers. She was also too young to pass away. I read her story on the Uterine Board under her name.
Condolences to Billie's family and friends.
Thanks Eldri for letting us know and sorry for the loss of your friend.
Cheerful
a/k/a Jane

I am so sad
Billie and I exchanged emails just a couple of weeks ago. Even then she was upbeat. I will miss that smiling face.
We lost another sister last night. Cosaltlife was on the board briefly about a year ago. We connected and kept in touch even after she stopped coming to the board. She had carcinosarcoma at the very earliest stage. But it came back with a vengeance in October. I can't believe either of these women is gone... they were such strong presences and had such wonderful spirits.

Chris, thanks for letting us know. And, NoTime, thanks for the picture. So hard to hear of another loss and I'm glad to have all of the ladies on this board to help get through yet another sad day because of this ugly cancer. May we all find peace and the ability to enjoy every day.

I loved her smiling picture
In the last couple months Ms. Brady was generous enough to answer my (our) questions about clinical trials and share her at sometimes frustrating experiences in finding the right matches. She helped me understand the patience, work, and hope exploring all options and never giving up. Her zest for life and generous heart cme through loud and clear in her photo. Thank you to her family for sharing her with us. K
