bun Wipes
Hi group ... has anyone found a good flushable "wet one" for use post BM? My skin is permanently damaged and sensitive (as many of you also struggle with) ... something that cleans well, yet moisturizes?
You might think I'd have this figured out at 6 years out, "butt" my skin is getting worse with time.
Thanks ... sending well wishes to all!

It's my understanding that "flushable" wipes are not so flushable--they are bad for the plumbing (not yours, but the pipes in your house). I didn't use wipes when I was getting treatment. Instead, I used regular toilet paper moistened with water. Have you tried coconut oil on your skin? It is very soothing and healing. You could also apply Aquaphor or aloe. If necessary, try to find one of the bidet attachments for your commode. I would keep trying things until you find something that doesn't irritate your skin, but I would stay away from the "flushable" wipes.

I use unscented baby wipes
I use unscented baby wipes and I bought a warmer for them. The warmer makes it so much nicer to wipe! You can't flush them. I got a prescription for triamcinolone ointment from my dermatologist to use a few times a day and one for silvadine cream alternating the two. This worked wonders and fast. I also use Charmin ultra soft which feels a lot better than any other kind of toilet paper. I hope this helps.

Baby wipes with baby oil added
I can't use them all the time but I use baby wipes with aloe and add some baby oil a friend suggested the baby oil because the baby wipes weren't well sliding good enough to keep from tearing me. Im still doing radiation/chemo in bad days I use a spray bottle with water and aloe added then barely pat dry or turn my blow dryer on cold. I have had a problem with my plumbing yet but that's not to say it can't happen. I hope you find something that helps.
