hi everyone
been gone a while. yesterday finally got my port out, had it since apr 2014. it's good, just wish my wife was here to celebrate it with me. she passed last dec of cancer. hope everyone has a good xmas

Thanks for checking in. I'm so sorry to hear about your wife; this would have been the day to celebrate with someone you love. Getting the port out is always momentous. On the one hand it means that you're done with those treatments, but at the same time you feel kind of vulnerable...like, what if I need it again? I don't need to tell you that life is uncertain, scary, and beset with grief. I can tell you that we are here for you.
