Mom about to go for 1st round of chemo - what to expect
Hi,
My mom is about to go for her 1st chemo session (She's stage 3 plus) and I'm quite nervous as I don't want her to go through the hell described by chemo patients.
Question is : any advice on the side effects and how best to copy with common side effects during chemo?
Thanks!

Best way to cope-- speak up!
Best way to cope-- speak up! Tell your oncologist, your nurses, your techs asap about anything going wrong in any way. My cancer center had a check list of side effects that I filled out when I came in for treatment, so my team knew how I was feeling when I came in. Even if it sounds silly or of little consequence, tell someone. Hope everything goes well.
