I will be on Medicare as of the 1st of Dec. I have A&B and have a perscription Plan D in place. What I need is a "gap"plan. I have looked so much my head spins! Any suggestions? I'm looking at AARP just because they are familier to me and the plan "F" will cover all of the 20% A & B except 2,800.00. It is supposed to cost 168.00 a month! Thanks All, Debra Jo

Hi, I have had AARP for 10 years and had 2 kinds of cancers and never had one bill to pay. I have heard that F is good. I got in a long time ago and have J but I don't think they offer that anymore. Most of my friends have AARP and are very happy with it.

Thank you so much! I looked and looked and kept coming back to them. Going to get started signing up! Thanks again! Debra Jo

AARP-be sure to check drug formulary list
MY husband is going through the same search and found AARP supplemental F was the best fit for him. For prescription plan be sure any drugs you are currently on or will be are listed on the company of your choice formulary list.

Plan F
I have AARP plan F and think it's great. I've had no problems with it. My doctors offices said they've had no problems with it. You're lucky to be getting it at such a good rate. It's much more than that in NY state. I recommend it to everyone. Get it now because you probably wouldn't be able to get it if you were to wait a year. It's no longer going to be offered after 2020, but you can keep it if you're grandfathered in. If you were to wait until a year from now, they'd look at your poor health history and you'd more than likely be denied. They can't deny you if you sign up for it when you first get on Medicare (but that will change as of 2020).

Debra Jo, what did you find out? My husband can sign up in January and I can in March.
Love,
Eldri
