First rad appoint next Tuesday
In late May I was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer below my left eat behind jaw bone. I've had 2 surgeries one for tumor removal the second to repair tissue damage. My shoulder and chest still hurt from the tissue grafts.
I have an ear wick in my left ear to prevent the ear canal from closing up. Pain is an everyday thing now.
I'm kind of nervous about radiation treatment.
Thankful for being alive!

rads for everyone or just you
dvr99174,
I never liked rads, but came to find it interesting, For me, I needed 1 Lorazepam to help and help it did. They do not last long, but you should bring some music (it was oldies for me). After a few, you will get the hang of things and make up your own little radiation ritual, at least I did.
Good luck,
Matt
