Round 4 of Immunotherapy

Monday was round four of the immunotherapy treatments.  My lab work was all good and I am almost not anemic anymore.  Just .2 under normal.  I will have a CT scan in two weeks, but my Onc. Is not sure if it the results will be accurate some growth could be my immune system attacking the tumors.  He says that the way I feel and look are better indicators of how things are going.  So, for now, we are very encouraged.

so far still no side effects and my energy is still returning.  Last week we were able to make a trip to the Oregon coast and spent two days walking in the sand and watching waves.  Six weeks ago I would no have been able to do that.

Hugs and prayers to all and never give up hope.  Lou Ann

    Thanks. I have registered my

Thanks. I have registered my mum for an immununotherapy trial as well to commence next month. It will be a new drug similar to keytruda. But i dont know if she will qualify as she may be not be fit enough. Also she is taking dexamethasone which if she cannot stop will disqualify her. Would you be able to ask your oncologist if keytruda can be administered with low dose dexamethasone? We have the option of seeking privately funded treatment on keytruda but i am still looking for an oncologist who would do that. Knowing this would help. Thanks.

He already told me that I can

He already told me that I can't use dexamethosone because it is a steriod and would compromise the treatment.  Sorry.
