Me Again with a Suggestion you CAN get.  2 wks ago was cleaning out my Medical Supply Cabinet.  Low and behold found an old tube of Arnica that both my husband & I used from eye surgeries 8 years ago. It really helped with the swelling, pain, and reduced the back eyes dramatically.  I can't believe I forgot about this All Natural product.  Went out and purchased a new tube and started rubbing it on my entire throat area. My lymphadema has reduced significantly, it reduced the swelling, soreness, and even seems to ease my sore throat a bit. Rub and massage it in 3x daily.  Even toned down the fluid under my eyes and cheek.  I am 4 months out of treatment, wish I would have started it earlier.  Neck has more movement with out that swollen "turkey neck".  Even using it for aches & pain.

    New Found Reasons how Arnica is Helping Other Factors Check this

    Hello, Me again,

    Found some New Uses for Arnica.

     (1).   As I mentioned above, I have been using the Arnica on my neck for Lymophadema and it is gone!  I massage it (3x). Daily and the swelling is gone.

    (2).   Saw My Dentist last week for more surface laser on my tongue for damaged nerves.  Has made a world of difference.  No more burning Pain and Eating Solids is so much easier!!

    (3).   My DDntist also noticed That My Salivery Gland is started to produce some Saliva on its own.  This is the side that was heavily Radiated.  Will have him check more when I see him this week.  Arnica massaged in, I know it Helped!

    (4).   I have also been using it to help reduce swelling and puffyness under my eyes.  They are soooo much better.

    (5).   Also rubbing it in my shoulders and back and it does help ease the pain and loose them up!  Also rubbing it into my crape skin on knees & arms. Than I apply Gold Bond Lotion heavy duty.  I lost 35 lbs fast so I did have loose, wrinkled skin.  Helping this also!  Miracle Potion and a lot cheaper than expensive creams and is Natural.  Try it, You just may love it as much as I do.

    Thanks!  I've used arnica before for minor bruises and muscle aches and forgot about it.  I've been doing the lymphedema massage I found on this site but not real consistently, so I went today and bought a tube of arnica cream.  I also have severe L sided spinal stenosis in my cervical spine and chronic L shoulder pain, I put the cream on about an hour ago and my shoulder already feels better.  So thanks, hopefully being more consistent with massage and the arnica I'll see results. Reallly odd, I lost 30# in treatment and wound up with a turkey neck, when I was a bit overweight, had a skinny neck,  lol!  :)

    I buy it at Walgreens by the rub-in pain creams /ice backs.  It's called Arnicare Gel.  Hugs Lisa

    Ibuy it at Walgreens in the pain relief/ pain rubs/ pain patchs/ ice bags, etc.  Just look for it, it's sometimes mov Es around in that aisle.  It's about $11.00 and sometimes on sale. Got my husband using it now.  Hope it works for you !!!    Hugs, Lisa

    Going to Walgreens today....

    my neck is getting stiffer by the day (I was taking Trental and Vit E for 3 months, and that worked for keeping the muscles from getting fibrotic)....when my prescription ran out, I figured I was done with the stuff.  But I can feel things tightening up quickly.  I'll give my review after a week :).

    Lymphedema

    Ok, I have to start being more consistent. The lymphedema is there every morning and seems to make breathing harder in the mornings. I saw my ENT Tuesday he said vocal cords are swollen. I think if I get the lymphedema under control, the breathing and voice should get better. So today I will start 3x a day, update in a week or so.

    Update I'm very thankful ENT said tumor site looked great.

    Hope For Those of You Trying Arnicare

    Hi All,      Hope someone is getting some relief.  All I know mine is gone, eyes & face less puffy, and My Dentist really wonders if all the massaging with the Arnicare is what is helping my radiated Salivary Gland to start producing a little Saliva on its own.  I will mention again, I have not had surgery.  All My Doctors agreed that the 2 areas would not be easy to cut it out without taking a small portion of tongue.  So they did the Combo Treatment first and after 2 months post - treatment their was NO sign of Cancer....NED.  5 months later and numerous throat scopes, Ct's with and without dye, and a PET Scan, still NED and healing well.  Also having some light Laser treatments at my Dentist on my tongue has taken away the Nerve pain.  No meds except Motrin and often that is more for my more recently done L4-L5 back fusion.  Hugs to All, Any questions always feel free to ask, I will do my best to answer.   Lisa

    Hi, hope the arnica & massages work.  Be deligent about 3x daily.  You could even do it more.  It feels good.  I lost 35 lbs, look skeletal, but did have turkey neck also.  Gone now.  Now, if I could just gain more weight.  Boy I can eat but nothing with too much sugar, actually prefer none.  Tastes way to sweet to me now, so a guess Im a Sugar-Free Survior.  So glad everything is ok with your throat.  Losing the turkey neck helped mine, steak is not even a problem to swallow.  Rub-a dub away !    Hugs, Lisa
