    Hi Bellen;

    Yes, anal cancer mets liver - dx in 2011 with two very large masses in the liver.  Had surgery where they took the left lobe out and burned the other one out because it was too close to the blood supply to cut it out.  About a year later I had another and then a year after that another - both treated with sterotactic radiation which was awesome.  Everything has calmed down now except I've had a reoccurance of the primary anal site just recently.

    Liver mets

    hi Kathy - 2005 I had my treatment for AC.  No reoccurence since.  As far as I understand right now (have more appts) this is of a colorectal origin - adenocarcinoma with multiple masses in both liver lobes. The Onco is saying a chemo cocktail either folfax or folfiri - he is meeting with a team of liver surgeons, etc this week.  Will let you know what he decides on.  Having a port put in next week.  Boy, it's hard to stay positive, with what I would say is almost torturous delays, waiting where I live in Canada. Actually got new referral to city 2 hrs away and that Onco went over my CT scan (had 2 mos ago) and biopsy, so I had a better understanding.  I wish you all the best.  What kind of treatment are they suggesting for the AC reoccurrence?  Wishing you well.
