NED -- Three Year Checkup

Friends,

Wanted to add another NED Report!!! Scan went great this week and my lead MD at MDA Houston gave me the thumbs up and actually even said that the area that recieved radiation looks incredibly good.  So one more trip down to Houston to recived the good news and dont need to return till 2017!!! All is great with the only issue spasms in the neck which reminds me to stretch and do the exercises. As for me training for my second 13.1 -- The Dallas 13.1 in December and will be running a 10K in a couple of months before the big race! There is not only light at the end of the tunnel -- There IS life! Oh it will be slightly different but remember there is life after treatment! Those still in the battle keep putting one foot in front of the other!

Jon

    Thank you!

Congratulations and thank you for checking in and letting us know how well you're doing! For those of us in the midst of treatment, it's a lifeline to hear how well other survivors are doing. And, running a half marathon! That's fantastic!

Thank you so much for coming

Thank you so much for coming to share this. Congratulations.  I admire what you're doing still, and it gives me hope about the things I loved doing, that I would be able to continue.  Finished rads July 12th, and though I'm having fatigue issues, I've already started planning to hit the gym mid August. Have also been doing some exercises at home.  Congratulations again, and so happy you kicked butt!
