Im sitting here on my couch still not conviced to cut my hair short.  Its not real long but just above my sholders.  Any ways I decided to look at some old threads and the first one i ran into was the one when Eldri was loosing her hair  and her dog got a hold of her wig.  I hope you dont mind me sharing. I read others comments about her experience and i just laughed.  I loved it. I dont even know when you shared that Eldri but im glad you did.  Ive been combing my hair every night and every morning and lots come out.  My 10 year old daughter who is really good at not taking things seriously (Which i hope she gets a balence sometime) jokingly tells me I have a big bald spot on my head as I comb and says ohhhh!!! like she thinking what a shock.  I need to laugh more about this crazy hair stuff.  Thanks Eldri for sharing your experience.  I needed that today.    Lots of love, Janae

You're welcome!!!  I think my little Spunky likes anything that smells like me and that wig sure did!!!  My husband worked for a farm co-op many years ago and at one of the farms where he delivered feed to, the wife was bald.  She kept her wig hanging on a nail in the barn. He said he'd always make a lot of noise before he went in the barn to give her a chance to get the wig down from the nail and shake the dust out of it before she'd put it on.  He told me I should pound a nail in the wall and hang my wig on it instead of just leaving it on the coffee table where the little Spunkster could grab it....LOL.  I told him I'd probably forget it was there and visitors would think some kind of varmint was climbing up our wall!! Ha ha!!

I'm glad I have my own hair now but I kind of felt like Ava Gabor when I wore that long one I had.

I suppose I should take the four I have and donate them to a retired wig home!!!

    Thanks for your new story.

Thanks for your new story. Ireminded me of a story that happened to me.  I guess its time to share mine.  About a week ago i was getting used to my rutine of wearing my wig. I had been taking it off when it was just me and the kids in the house.  It felt way more comfortable with out it.  Anyways my daughter was out playng with her friend and i had my wig off in the house.  She came flying( not literally but i thinkyou know what i mean) through the front door and saw me without my wig and said t her friend who just happended to not get through the door yet,  "wait wait wait!!!!!!! you cant come in yet my mom is naked".  She shut the door and i put my wig on.  I wasnt ready or i dont think my daugher was ready for her friend to know i had a wig.  I thought It was very creative and funny what she came up with.  I did have to tell her that she might not beable to do that again because i really dont want people to know im in the living roon nacked.  So the new rule is no friends alowed in the house until my kids come in first and ask.  Ha!  Ha!

LOL, I think that was quite

LOL, I think that was quite inventive of her!!  I always kept a scarf around so I could quickly slip it on if the UPS driver or mail lady showed up unannounced.....didn't want to scare them since I sorta resembled Uncle Fester on a good day right down to the turtleneck.
