I am so glad that you found a surgeon to complete the surgery
Thank You for the update.
I have been wondering how things were going on getting the surgery completed. Hopefully your husband will finally have some relief after all of this time. I do not remember having a lot of pain after my surgery, but I had not been taking any opioids prior to surgery so I had no tolerance. I did have a patient managed medication pump for the pain medication they did give me. I can’t remember how much I used it, which probably means I used it quite a bit.
I hope he is feeling better soon and both of you can get some much needed rest.
Sending prayers for pain relief and quick recovery.
Best Regards,
Paul Adams

Thanks
Thanks Paul! The pain pump helped as did just the healing process I guess because he was able to get up for a bit today and hold a conversation. I didn't know with laparascopic surgery, anesthesia gases are trapped in your body and can cause lots of pain before they dissipate. You learn something new with each trip to the hospital! Hope all is well with you and you enjoy your summer,0
