How to dispute false medical bills? (Caregiving Question)

Hi Everyone, 

I am responsible for caring for my elderly relative, who is sick and in need of constant attention. As of late, the medical bills and procedures have significantly increased. Unfortunately, I am getting incredibly fatigued and frustrated. On top of all of this, I believe the medical bills of the individual are incorrect and more than what they should be. 

I really don't have the time or energy to solve this. I was wondering if anyone knew of a respected company that could accurately find these mistakes and save me much need money.

    I don't know if it helps but I have gotten several bills over the months and I call the companies and tell them she is on medicare and they sent the bill to the wrong person. It has saved us a few thousand. What happens is companies with the wrong insurance information or no information (dr's don't always fill out al the paperwork) just send the bill to the patient. We have to be vigilant or else keep paying these things. If you have an insurance company, ask them to audit the bills. If not I really don't know where to start.

    Medical Bill Answer

    I did some research throughout the week and actually found some companies that answered the exact question I previously asked. If anyone your interested, visit DisputeBills.com. I personally recommend DB because they have a success rate that exceeds 70% and solves these particular questions I asked extremely quick/professionally. 

    Bottom line is that I have finally found a specific company that can do this time consuming work for myself and help me finally save me money!

    City of Hope sent us a bill

    City of Hope sent us a bill before my grandfather was even formally seen for his cancer diagnosis, the doctor would come check on him while he was in the hospital for another condition and then bill it $$$. I called the insurance comapny (united healthcare) and they said we weren't even supposed to see this bill that totaled out to over 2,000. 

    I could see where people are just so caught up in their problems they pay the bills unknowingly without question. I never let him pay a bill without getting a full invoice from the facility and then calling for a consult fomr the insurance.
