Surgery Findings
Hi everyone,
This last surgery was very rough. I had to have left upper portion of my lung removed and also had my heart opened up to remove RCC from those body parts (which I am running low on). Doc also removed 5 lymph nodes around the area and 2 tested positive for RCC. Oncologist said we will continue to remove with surgery if it comes back in single spot, but if it comes back in multiple spots then we will be doing a daily regimen of meds.
I am having a hard time dealing with it all this time, feel so helpless and keep hoping I will wake up from a very bad long dream! I am still fighting and will continue to fight this with all the rest of you who have had it a lot worse off then me. It really helps to read the post from everyone on here, thanks for being there through it all.
Love to you all!
Brenda

You are a warrior!!
My goodness. It amazes me what the human body can withstand. You clearly have a determination like no other. Having a lobectomy (lung portion removed) is tough enough, but your heart too?
Although I don't personally know you, I love you and your spirit to perservere. You are so inspiring.
God Bless you Brenda and here's to what is hopefully a long, healthy and happy life moving forward.

Oh dear Brenda, to think of
Oh dear Brenda, to think of us and send love reflects the tremendously wonderful person you are ~
You can write to me anytime. I am on your side..but.. ENUFF!! You need a break!
Have you received any other opinions on treatment besides surgeries? Maybe you have, but just seems like a lot of you to have a surgery for every sign of cancer.
Know that I am thinking of you and on your side.. all the way!Sending YOU my strength, stamina (ha!) and care, always,
Jan

Thank you all so much!
Thank you so much everyone, and I am happy to say I am back at work full time (came back June 2) and have gotten stronger every day. My breathing is still a little labored, but I am doing really great. I am starting every three month regimen with scans again and still get just as nervous with them! Thank again so much for all your support, I could not have gotten through this without the help and inspiration from all of you!
Love and prayers to you all!
