Introduction
Hello everybody.... I am new in here and unfamiliar with the protocol. I thought I'd start here with an introduction. I'm Sam from Columbia, SC (actually relocated here in 2002 from NY). I had stage 4 head and neck cancer, originally diagnosed Oct 2015. Travelled to NYC for surgery/treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering and now cancer free!!!

Welcome Sam
As Phrannie often says, welcome to the club no one wants to join. This is a good site with knowledgeable people that have been thru just about everything. So, if one person may not know the answer to any question you have, someone else may.
Very glad to hear "Cancer Free" for you
My Best to You and Everyone Here

MSK are the major leagues!!! I was happy with them. I had 25 treatments and stayed at Hope Lodge in Jan/Feb. I was impressed with the comprehensive treatment at MSK. Surgeon... Radiologist... Dentist... Nutritionist... Speech and Swallowing therapist... many in the same building!!!

Welcome Sam to The Head & Neck group.
Welcome:
As always sorry anyone has to join, but you did find the best group there is. Glad to here you are doing good. Mine was SCC Stage 3 Supraglottic and they got the tumor when they removed my larynx and have been NED ever since. The doctor will wait until my five year mark, before he will use the term cured.

welcome
Welcome! I'm in the Charlotte, NC area...we're practically neighbors! I was treated through Levine Cancer Center right here in town. Glad to hear you're cancer free. It's a FANTASTIC thing to hear those words!
