Rib Charlie horses?

in Breast Cancer #1

HI.  Has anyone experienced what feels like a Charlie horse under your rib cage when you twist your torso right or left?  Happened to me several times this week and I have no idea what it could be.

    I have been feeling that

    I have been feeling that sensation for awhile now. I had a double mastectomy with no reconstruction and lots of chest scar tissue build up. I figure it was scar tissue or a hernia. 

    I have no breast surgeon following me (BMX was in 2011) and I have no need for an oncologist. I know its not mets since it would be almost impossible for me to get them since I was Stage 0 DCIS. I figure its just another thing left over from breast cancer that I have to live with.

    Been getting those lately, too.  I am not sure if it is connected to the cramps I get in my foot and lower leg (front or back).  All three areas are on the same side.  I just wondered if I have no been drinking as much water as I should, for one thing.

    I get them

    and, boy, do they hurt! I had cording after my surgery and I wondered if the Charlie horses are similar, like webbing, a type of scar tissue. My doctors don't seem to have an answer. I try to be careful about stretching and moving to avoid the pain

    yes I have had them for

    yes I have had them for years. Initilly couldnt turn around to back up the car. Can be quite painful. probably stretching would be good for this.

    YES!

    I get them at times when I twist . It's not everytime but I honestly think it's muscles over compensating or possible getting more use after we heal over time. They are trying to be useful again but get caught up in a lack of use over the past time.

    lung nodules 19 years after breast cancer

    Hello- Long story.  My mom is a two time breast cancer survivor from 1989 (first primary-unilateral mastectomy and 1996( another primary on other breast-mastectomy.  She had chemo both times.  First time she was node negative second time she had one positive node.  NO problems since.  Recently she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, had total hysterectomy and it was staged 1a....on her preop ct scan there were 5 lung nodules largest being 1.5cm.  She is having no shortness of breath or lung symptoms.  With the staging of the endometrial cancer her doctor said he has never seen it spread to the lungs with that low of a stage so they are concerned this could be a recurrence from breast after 19 years?!?!?!?  She had a ct guided lung biopsy which showed benign but pulmonoglist wants another sample as he doesn't believe it.  Ugh!  Any one else have lung biopsies and did they have trouble getting a diagnosis?  I am still hoping for benign and that this is just part of her.  I know it is rare but I have heard breast cancer can come back even after 19 years.  UGh!

    I am not a doctor but wonder if she would benefit from a PET scan.
