Just Had My First Glass Of Gatorade and Miralax :)
Guess what is in store for tomorrow?
So far nothing happening. But need to have another three glasses in the next hour. Cannot wait
Kidding aside, I have gotten a couple of people to do this and told them no matter how this part is not a barrel of laughs for 1/2 day or so, it is a heck of a lot better than missing something going on inside.
Then follow up scans in about two weeks. Guessing Trubrit and others are coming due also. We are a few weeks off? If I am wrong, just go with chemo brain

Four in two months
That is how many Colonoscopies I had at first; after that, just the thought of doing the prep makes me retch. I keep thinking I'm never going to do it again, but I know, come January, I will, of course.
Good luck with the Colonoscopy tomorrow. We'll wait with you for the results.

Poo away!
According to the instructions systems should have taken off within an hour or so. Took three hours, so I was actually worried for a moment This time does not seem as bad as the time before the coloscopy last year or the surgery. Would not have had time to type on the board

Heck! Thats a long time. I'm glad things are 'moving' along.
May you empty right out and be nice and clean for the camera. I watched my last one. Fascinating but not at all comfortable. I wouldn't suggest it.

but whatever the anesthesiologist gave me put me out like a light for the duration. In retrospect, that's probably a good thing.

How come you get gatorade,
How come you get gatorade, I'm given that "Half Lightly" stuff [whatever it's called] and am told no mixing with anything or sticking ice cubes in it, it's like drinking cool salt water. I want gatorade, dammit.

Hope e everything comes out OK
I have had 5 colonoscopies 2 surgery preps and 1 Sigmoidoscopy in 4 1/2 years. The prep never gets any more fun. I have been both awake to watch and sound asleep. I always ask for light sedation. I think some folks light is not as light as others. Ha!
Hope things go well for you. I will be drinking the gateraide tomorrow myself.
Blessings

Kept on going, but not right.
Unfortunately it also seems to be that I am a breeding ground for polyps and I am on this one more often.
For a brief instance they thought it was our buddy, but wasn't.
Had really bad reaction to being put under, and also some other things which came up. And insurance did not cover drugs to make it better. YIPPEE!! Fortunately pretty inexpensive for drugs (under $100), but been having breathing issues. Normally I chalk them up to seasonal allergies. But of course the potential stuff on the lungs, well it does cross the mind. Next week the scan...

The first time. Brutal. But MSK goes with the easy way and I did it before surgery which worked perfect. 238 grams of MiraLax into 64 ounces clear stuff, Gatorade. Shake it up. Place in fridge and good to go. (Hmmmm. Pun not intended, but came out there.) It was not quite good this time, but I knew that during the cleanse. Will double check the diet next time and make sure I am careful and may start a tad bit earlier. Not that it is pleasent of course, but the drinking part is fine. Many Gatorade flavors work (no red etc.) and it just tastes like Gatorade. Better than that salt stuff.
The end results do not change much though. (Ooops I did it again. )

All good? You had/have surgery coming up again (?) Not sure if it was scheduled and I think you said there was still discussion?

Didn't you just have major surgery the other day? Was it postponed? Why are you on another cleanse? I want to know it all. Update us in your thread, PLEASE.

Such is the cards we have been dealt. But I keep on going with the thought that if this is the worst I am dealing with in the context of cancer, I consider myself lucky.
You are pretty much on the same schedule, ahead by a couple of days. You have a scan coming up or just did one? Or are you now extended a bit more? (Or perhaps the last one just lined up with me)
