Numbness, tingling, and sharp
Numbness, tingling, and sharp prick sensations sound like neuropathy, a common side effect of at least chemotherapy and possibly also radiation. Definitely discuss with her oncologist, though, because while I had chemo-induced neuropathy, it can also come from things like diabetes. My chemo-induced neuropathy did eventually go away (about a year later).

There are a few bits of information that could help: did she have a lumpectomy or mastectomy? did she have lymph nodes removed? Did she have radiation? And what parts of the body does she feel them in?

Look for signs
Not sure how long she has been experiencing this, but in reading about numbness, etc, I can only recall my experience. depending on where the symptoms are, be on the look out for SHINGLES. I was told any stresser to the body can cause an outbreak. Mine came between chemo and surgery.
I still have neuropathy in hands 5 months post chemo, and 7 weeks post surgery. I found that Ibuprophen does help.
