Did something positive today!
I renewed my passport for ten years. I'm copunting on that I'll need it that long. And that some day we'll be able to afford to go somewhere. It makes me feel so good to have done that, it really improved my mood more than I expected it would. Funny how the little things can do that. Yup, I have a passport again. I may not ever go anywhere but it feels good to think that I can!

I don't know if
It is superstition IE. scared that changing anything will doom me but I have never had a passport and the other thing that I have avoided on purpose is making a will. PS there is nothing left anyway all of the specialists have white anted my meagre savings years ago. Hope you get to use your passport , my only chance will be if I fill my twelve foot aluminium boat with fuel and head into the sunrise. Ron.

Today I was strong enough to
Today I was strong enough to work on our garden. I've been wanting to change it for a few years but year one I had the cancer surgery and then the abcesses so that summer was ruined and last summer I was still barely able to do anything after the paralysis from the blood clot so this year I was determined. When I first made the garden it was too narrow for the plants I'd planted and they'd hang over on the grass so the garden had to be dug wider. I did that! I actually dug out dirt and put it in a wheelbarrow! Too weak to take the wheelbarrow and dump it but my husband did that. Yay! I'm so happy! Next is a new garden I want in the back yard with flowers that bees like and a bird bath. I feel like my life is fianlly getting back on track!

I'm wanting to do the same, a veggie garden in the back, but I won't start it until I've caught up with two to three years of deferred maintenance on the house and property. I'm still trimming the palms and then I've got to haul it all, plus other spring cleaning stuff. Now that I've scratched the travel itch a bit [Vegas was great, but it's a total clip joint now; Death Valley and the Sequoias were magnificent], I'm ready to get busy with my own "honey-do" list. Spring's a great time...............................................Dave
