Possible New Treatments Pinned Post?
I'm wondering if there's a way we could have a pinned post that would include all the potential new treatments, where they go wrong or if they remain positive, what really doesn't work, things like that. It might be a handy for all of us but particularly for new members. We all know that once they've been diagnosed they'll get unundated with suggestions from well meaning friends for Essiac tea, cannabis, not eating sugar, etc. etc. I read today about the venom from wasps in Brazil but there's nothing beyond the initial articles about it. I realize it takes a very long time to establish if something might or might not work but it would be good to know what's happening with various ideas for treatment.
It would have to be something as free as possible from opinions and just be about real information. Or maybe we could have a thread started for each new idea and then it would be easy to look up and we could add whatever new information we find.
I remember posting about the supposed cure in Mexico where they take out the blood and clean it of sugars and it uncludes a sugar free diet among other things. I mentioned how I know two people who tried it and both passed away, one shortly after finishing her second round and the other during his first. The cost is $15,000. A member on here- if you read this please forgive me for forgetting who you were- was very grateful to know that because she was being guilted by friends who were saying they should have tried it for her husband. Like losing your husband isn't bad enough, you should be made to feel like you didn't do all you could and essentially he passed because you didn't spend enough money. Anyway, it would be good to have the information all in one place instead of looking it up on line.
Is this something that would be a good idea?

It would suit me fine to have
It would suit me fine to have a post for all new/potential therapies and treatments, but how do you avoid opinions and biases? I doubt many would constrain themselves to it, some are evangelical about a particular drug or treatment and share it on many threads. New people, desperate for anything that sounds possible, want to hear from those who tried the drug/treatment. It would be nice if there was a blog that discussed the status of various treatments and trials by someone capable of an informed, impartial view, with an address that we could refer to. Such a thing may already be out there. I don't know, but it's a good idea...............................................Dave

What kind of diet questions do you have? There are differing trains of thought on diet. Most people on here see to be of the mindest that you just eat the way you ought to whether you have cancer or not. Good potions of food that is good for you and try to cut back on the stuff that's bad for you. Avoid things that are pretty much prove to be bad for you such as processed meats. Eat the way you would if you were eating to avoid getting cancer to give your body every opportunity to combat any cancer cells that treatment doesn't get.
