They had to beat my Alma Mater-Oregon State University.  But I must say the Huskies were quick and out-hustled the Beavers.  Our gals were rushing their shots the second half and threw bricks.  And they couldn't get rebounds, either.

4 in a row would be great for Uconn, if they win again.

Those women played like animals.  It was a great game last night, even though UCONN had me a bit upset during the 3rd quarter.  They deserved to win by the way they played and came back even better in the 4th quarter.  And 4 National Championships in a row.  Wow is all I can say.

For out beavs to be able to say they got beaten by the champs in the semis is an accomplishment on it's own.

WAAAAyyyy before Title 9, I played BB at OSU.  6 on a team/3 guards on half the court/3 forwards on the other half/limited to 3 dribbles and then pass.  Guess what?  We weren't supposed to be physically fit and capable enough to play full court.  Glad someone made the powers that be change the rules.

The other Huskies we usually have to deal with are from Udub (Univ. of Washington)  and they were also in the Semi's but got beaten by Syracuse.  Go West Coast Pac 12.

Oh, and aii my colleagues are dead jealous that I saw the Harlem Globetrotters in the late 60's including Meadowlark Lemon and Curly.

haven't figured out Cricket.  I was on a vacation with a bunch of Aussie's and New Zealanders, and I've watched it on TV (sort of).

Now, I thought this board was for sharing thoughts, good or bad about life and cancer.  Well, sports are part of life and we'll share if we want to.

• You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.
• Each man that’s in the side that’s in the field goes out and when he’s out comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out.
• When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.
• When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.
• Sometimes there are men still in and not out.
• There are men called umpires who stay out all the time, and they decide when the men who are in are out.
• Depending on the weather and the light, the umpires can also send everybody in, no matter whether they’re in or out.
• When both sides have been in and all the men are out (including those who are not out), then the game is finished.

Seriously, it didn't make my bucket list. I'm ok without cricket. But don't feel sorry for me. I'm also ok without baseball, football, or basketball. For that matter, golf, cards, even monopoly. I don't know why, but I'm just an anti-gamer. Been like that my whole life. But I'm so glad to see you guys talk about something you enjoy.

Apparently you don't really want us to understand cricket.  That's ok, I still don't understand some things in football either.  Oh well, back to my sewing....
