Just got home from grams last chemo round!!!!

in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1

Grams last round of chemo went great, hopefully she does well through this coming week.  The doctor seemed very hopeful just upon physical examination alone, the largest mass he used to be able to feel during an abdomnial exam and can no longer feel anything. She gets her follow up scans april 14th. So fingers crossed. They are also putting a hysterectomy back on the table if the scans show the liver mass has shrunk or is gone all together. I am so proud of my grams her strength and everyone of your ladies strength to battle through this is so inspirational.  You are all made out of something unbreakable, and you have helped give me hope through out this process. It brings tears to my eyes knowing how much you have to fight through. Love you all and you definitley all have my prayers for strength during your battle.

    So happy for your grandmother to get through this part of the trip!  Very special lady as is he granddaughter! Be sure to let us know.  It is really encouraging that the dr. can't feel anything!  Take care, Debra(Jo)

    Such a great relief to finish that part of the journey.

    And, if she has a hysterectomy, I pray it goes as well for her as her chemo did!

    I'm so glad she made it.

    I'm so glad she made it.  Hopefully the tumor has shrunk and she can have the surgery.  She is lucky to have you in her corner.  Nobody should have to go through this alone.

    This is great news!  Not only being finished but seeing tangible results.  Congrats to you both for getting through this first step.

    Hugs to you and you and your grandmother! You've made an awesome team thru her treatments. Your support of your grandmother is invaluable, as im sure she'd tell you. Hoping for ned for your Grams!!

    She and you are pretty special to go through this cancer "stuff" (polite word) together and come through with tangible results.  Hope your Uncle is doing well also.  Hugs Nancy
