That's pretty cool! But where were our "killers" when we needed them?.....on vacation?
Donna~
Doing their best, ignoring what they rightly saw as cells from our own body. This is what the new immunotherapies do. It increases the bodies immune system as if under attack cuts off the blood supply to the tumours which become a target for our hyped up T-cells.
There's your answer, but bear in mind I play the banjo.

Killers are green
Love it footsie... exact visual I needed. How's the Nivo doing for you? I got # 5, and knee pain still an issue. Also got a PICC line... hate it.

I'm doing fine. Virtually no side effects. Whole body rash, and could happily sleep 24 hours, and I feel a bit fluey. My wife says thats just my immune system kicking into action so its a good thing. I hope its doing the other thing and zapping the tumours. I think I'm on #4 and wont have a scan until May I think.
I havent had a PICC line since my last one infected my blood during IL2. So now the nurses have to play 'hunt the vein'

I think i get my 6th or 7th infusion friday. feeling great except....damn, i hurt. but I am going to believe that it is the nivo working hard and I'm going to stick to that story. Lots of scans scheduled for monday but this will be one of the few times that I don't get results in the same day. Besides knee pain and the hemmorrage in it, my spine is killing me unless I absorb some oxie. But pain is better than the nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. At least for me. My white hair is gone. I kinda liked it. Still only weigh 150#. And still weak. B!tch, b!tch, b!tch. Listen to me. It is so much better than being dead.

degenerative joint disease, I've taken a beating from radiation. And there are 2-3 old compression fractures. The nivo makes many old injuries come back to haunt me. I don't remember that as a problem when on trial. My wife believes otherwise.

dont they? Apparently when recovering from surgery I was visited by Helena Bonham-Carter and Kiera Knightly. We had a nice chat.
I dont remember this at all, but my missus can give a verbatim account of what I told her as I came round from the anasthetic.
Whenever I mention my stoic reaction to the disease and diagnosis she laughs like a drain. What can this mean?

Thanks for sharing that Foots, really found it to be a fun story.

She's a bit worried that people might not think these videos are real. They are real and taken from peer reviewed recent scientific journals. They dont say what could happen but shows what does happen when the latest immunotherapy is let loose on cancer cells. This is reality in a Petrie dish filmed through an electron microscope . Its not her work but it is the sort of stuff that she does all the time
