One year since diagnosis....
Hi there,
im coming up on my one year since being diagnosed with AC.
I feel great other than trying to keep my stools Soft. I'm on miralax almost evert night. I developed an anal fissure early on and I feel it's finally getting healed.
I still go to the bathroom at least 2-3 times a day or more but all and all everything is great.
I have a CT scan coming up in August and hope that all turns out good. I had no lymph node involvement that they could see but did mention one was slightly enlarged and so I will continue to get Ct scan for the first three years.
I still continue to read everyone's posts now and then. For those going through this treatment or have been diagnosed your life will go on and you will heal mentally and physically.
God bless you all and continued good health!!!

Congratulations on being 1 year post diagnosis! I'm glad you are doing well and managing the bowel symptoms. I hope that your upcoming CT scan will show that everything is well on the inside! Please remind us when you reach the scan date. I always like to send good wishes and positive thoughts. Keep moving forward--it sounds like you're doing great! Take care.

Congratulations on 1 year!
I remember the 1 year mark was such a milestone for me. I just celebrated 3 years post treatment and am doing well too.
Your statement, "For those going through this treatment or have been diagnosed your life will go on and you will heal mentally and physically." is right on.
Continued Health & blessings to you!
