Tonita that is really good to hear.

The waiting is so hard and so much goes through your head. Mine is worst right before bedtime. It get's quite and when I lay down, the mind just takes off in all directions. Now you know all were clear has to be such a big relief.  I know when I woke up and was not in ICU I knew it went well. The doctories came in the next morning and said all 86 were clear I felt so much better. They were tested as they were being removed.

Tonight you should get a great nights sleep, except now you are happy and excited about the great news. Tomorrow you will sleep better.

I had my post op visit with

I had my post op visit with the surgeon.  They tested 42 lymph nodes and all were negative.  The biggest hurdle now is going to be getting my tongue to be useful again.  Talking and eating.  I think it's gonna be a slow process.  He had to "rearrange" my tongue somewhat.

I want to thank you all for getting me through thus far.  It's been quite the experience for sure.

    Tonita,

We love to read this positive stuff for a change.  It is hard to keep saying to yourself that it will be all right, knowing deep donw it can either way.  Now that you know it won't be a problem you can deal with what's in front of you now.  Thank you for posting this good news.  It does us all good.
