in Kidney Cancer #1

Curiosity just had me check out some of my old records. It is official. March 12, 2011. Diagnosed with kidney cancer. Nephrectomy march 15th. Nothing but a barrel of laughs ever since. Still can't get that damn song out of my head. Although it has changed from a tune by the phantom of the opera played on a harpsichord in an old castle to something by Weird Al Yankovich.

    But with a birthday like "5" there is a fabulous reason.  Go celebrate!

    What are the odds? First something like only 15% of cancers are renal. Strike one. Response to IL-2, 15 ish %. Strike 2. Reaching 5 years stage 4, gotta be 15-20%, strike 3. When does the hard part begin? Been nothing but a walk in the park. With a lot of muggings.
